THE PHILOSOPHY

The Code We Live By.

"Most programs offer quick fixes. We offer a comprehensive system designed to optimize your biological age regardless of your chronological one—led by a coach who doesn't just teach the lifestyle, but lives it." — Coach Chris

The Founder Coach Chris’ Story

Healthspan Habits was born from my personal journey of transformation—a journey marked by struggle, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to change. My background in philosophy in college and a lifetime of deep introspection have been invaluable, but it was my lived experiences that became the true catalyst for founding this company.

From Entropy to Architecture I didn't just study longevity. I had to build a system to save my own life. I know the process of transformation firsthand—because mastering my habits didn't just change my life; it saved it.

The Darkest Chapter

For years, I led a double life as a functioning yet deeply unhappy alcoholic. I poured myself into my startup mobile app tech company, working over 100 hours a week. On the surface, I appeared successful, but behind closed doors, I drowned my stress and emotions in alcohol and fast food, embracing a reckless, live-fast-die-young mentality.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, my world collapsed. I lost my company, my sense of purpose, and eventually, myself. In a fog of depression and victimhood, I sought comfort in hedonistic indulgences that only deepened my despair. I vividly remember waking up one morning—still drunk from the night before—and finding myself on the bathroom floor. When I managed to pull myself up and look in the mirror, I didn’t recognize the person staring back at me. I weighed roughly 250 pounds, a far cry from the 200 pounds I carried during my startup days. The more I lost—my business, self-control, and self-respect—the more I gained in weight and self-loathing.

"We cannot change anything unless we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses." — Carl Jung

The Turning Point

In that pivotal moment, I reached out to my higher power, God, and to my AA sponsor, a former FBI agent and federal prosecutor, Mike. I prayed for the strength to change, and with divine guidance and discipline, I began to rebuild. My first runs were humbling—painful jogs that left me winded and cramping after just a few minutes. But I refused to give up. One step at a time, I made forward progress. Consistency became my cornerstone.

The Transformation: From Rock Bottom To Rebirth

For years, I lived a reckless, hedonistic lifestyle, pouring myself into the high-end cocktail industry and my startup mobile app tech company, working long hours while drowning stress in alcohol, fast food, and cigarettes. I told myself I was “successful,” but in reality, I was self-destructing.

When COVID shut down my business, I lost everything—my career/business, my purpose, and my self-respect. I spiraled deeper, hitting 250 lbs, struggling with severe depression, and unable to run even a short distance without gasping for air. My body felt heavy, weak, broken, and exhausted. My mind was worse.

But then, I made my decision.

I refused to let my rock bottom define me. Through sheer discipline, mental/physical training via various science backed tools, and a commitment to change, I rebuilt myself—one step at a time.

My Mission (Why I Coach)

Why Healthspan Habits? I founded Healthspan Habits because most "wellness" advice is broken. It offers quick fixes for people who need systemic change.

I am not just a coach who read a textbook. I am a practitioner who has walked the path from metabolic syndrome to elite fitness.

  • If you are sick: I know the darkness of the "diagnosis" and how to climb out.

  • If you are healthy: I know how to optimize your data to ensure you stay that way for decades.

My Philosophy We don't rely on motivation. We rely on Data, Systems, Truth and Integrity

The Architect & The Operator

Most people spend their lives waiting for a diagnosis to start caring about their health. At Healthspan Habits, we choose a different path: Medicine 3.0.

We are here to build a high-performance body and mind that will last for decades, not just days. We view you as both the Operator of your machine and the Architect of your future.

The 3 Pillars

We don't just "work out." We build a framework based on three Greek pillars to upgrade your "Software" (Mindset) and "Hardware" (Body).

  • TELOS (Purpose): What is the ultimate aim of your health? We define not just what you want to look like, but what you want to be able to do in 10, 20, or 30 years.

  • ETHOS (Character): Your habits form your character. We move away from "motivation" (which fades) and toward "discipline" (which lasts).

  • ARETE (Potential): Excellence and moral virtue. The act of living up to your full potential. This is the definition of Healthspan.

The total time for the year is 381 hours, and a message at the bottom states that the user put in more time than 97% of people on Strava this year, calling it impressive.

The Public Mission Statement

Our Mission: To bridge the gap between the doctor’s office and daily life. We exist to replace fleeting motivation with sustainable Healthspan Architecture.

Our Vision: We envision a world where aging is not a slide into decline, but an ascent into capability. We help you "debug" the habits that hold you back, transforming you from a passive character in your health story into the sovereign writer of it.

Our Promise: We do not sell quick fixes. We build a custom infrastructure for your Mind, Body, and Environment based on three non-negotiable pillars: Radical Truth, Deep Purpose, and Automated Systems.

The Core Values (The Code)

  • Rewrite the Script: We believe your current limitations are just a role you’ve been playing. We help you "break the fourth wall" to realize that your habits, your weight, and your mindset can be rewritten.

  • Architecture Over Entropy: The default state of nature is decay. The only cure is intentional design. We build systems that fight the drift toward decline.

  • Truth First: We cannot fix what we do not measure. We rely on biometric data and "Medicine 3.0" diagnostics—not feelings—to guide our decisions.

  • Purpose (Eudaimonia): Health without a "why" is just maintenance. We align your biological health with your deeper purpose, ensuring you have a reason to live longer. Eudaimonia (pronounced u-day-monia) is a Greek word, most famously used by Aristotle, that goes beyond hedonistic "happiness”… "Eudaimonia is not a fleeting emotion; it is a state of being. It is the deep satisfaction that comes from closing the gap between who you are and who you are capable of becoming."

  • Systems Over Willpower: Willpower is a battery that runs out. Systems are the power grid that stays on. We design environments where success is the default setting.

"We are not here to merely survive the day; we are here to conquer it.

By aligning the Mind (The OS), the Body (The Hardware), and the Life (The Environment), we become Sol Invictus—unconquered by the chaos of modern life.

The glitch is identified. The code is rewritten. Welcome to Healthspan Habits."
